Leadership

NYACT is fortunate to have representatives from most major insurance companies, law enforcement, national and regional and state regulatory agencies, and partner organizations on the Board of Directors.

Both Directors and Liaisons terms are for three (3) years, and there are no term limits on either position.  Board members attend and participate in board meetings at locations around New York State, as well as a full day annual Board Retreat, and several Board Conference Calls as needed throughout the year. Liaison representatives from law enforcement and state agencies are asked to provide privileged updates on cutting edge methods and techniques used by both criminals and law enforcement in crimes and prevention.

The Board provides leadership, wisdom, and creativity for the formulation of policy, progress, and practices that contribute to the fight to reduce the escalating cost of vehicle theft and insurance fraud.  They also attend and assist at our seminars and conferences throughout the year to network with insurance industry professionals, law enforcement personnel and government officials.
