Karen Weintraub, AHFI, CPC-P, CPMA, CDC
Executive Vice President, Healthcare Fraud Shield

via Zoom Platform
Registration Deadline: Friday, AUGUST 9 2024 by noon

Course Description:
This presentation dives into how organizations can combat healthcare Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) through the combined power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and targeted analytics. AI can analyze vast amounts of claims data to find patterns indicative of fraud. Targeted analytics then refines this analysis by focusing on high-risk claims through techniques like location data analysis, coding guidelines, billing pattern comparisons and more. A real-world case study will showcase how this approach successfully detected and prevented an unlicensed provider resulting in significant savings. By embracing AI and targeted analytics, organizations can move towards a more data-driven approach to combating FWA and ensure resources are directed towards the most impactful areas.
